MP - Adaptation or Life Support

As a general rule, I find Adaptation is one of those powers that suffers badly from ROI. That is to say, each line item is cost-consistent within MP for the powerful defensive benefits it offers, but trying to model an Android or Golem sucks up points in a proverbial heartbeat, and so buying a LOT of Adaptation is cost-prohibitive.

For example, here is the how I wrote it for Loader 21, a clay Golem loosely modeled around a mashup of the classic DnD creature, and the golems from Terry Pratchett's Discworld.

Adaptation: Asphyxiation, Blood Loss, Disease, Poison, Sleep Deprivation, Starvation, Time, Venom (30 CP)

And okay, that works great for a golem or android, but for an organic creature, something like this is a better fit:

Adaptation: Asphyxiation, Disease, High Temperatures, Low Temperatures, Poison, Radiation, Venom (30 CP)

I've made various attempts to model the VnV Adaptation power to MP, and have basically given up and gone with...

Life Support: 8×3-hour charges,
Modifiers: Not Gear, Extended Duration (27.5 CP)

...as it models the VnV power pretty well for duration (24 hours, but as a Continual ability, the character can rest and recover charges), and defensive benefits (Protection 2), without costing 55+ CP.
