The Mighty Protectors Ability Experience Levels is very powerful. Effectively, it bundles Heightened Defense, Heightened Expertise, and Knowledge into one handy and convenient package.
Specifically, for each 10 CP, you get: Attack +1, Defense +1, Skills +1.
At 10 CP, that breaks down to Heightened Defense Physical +1 (2.5), Mental +1 (2.5), Heightened Expertise +1 all attacks (2.5), and Knowledge +1 all skills (roughly 1/3 of the standard +3 for one Background Skill, which is 5 CP, twice, or about 3.33 CP, so round it down for sake of discussion) (2.5) = 10 CP
At 20 CP, that breaks down to Heightened Defense Physical +2 (5), Mental +2 (5), Heightened Expertise +2 all attacks (7.5), and Knowledge +2 all skills (roughly 2/3 of the standard +3 for one Background Skill, which is 5 CP, twice, or about 6.66 CP, so round it up for sake of discussion) (7.5) = 25 CP
At 30 CP, that breaks down to Heightened Defense Physical +3 (7.5), Mental +3 (7.5), Heightened Expertise +3 all attacks (12.5), and Knowledge +3 all skills (equivalent to the standard +3 for one Background Skill, which is 5 CP, twice) (10) = 37.5 CP
...and the savings just improve from there.
